Hello! Printers of choice : Fairly recently, i treated myself to an Epson Photo 950 : there were two reasons for the choice, 1. It has seven seperate ink cartriges : 2. It can print onto CD's/DVD's. I'd had an earlier Epson Photo range printer, which only had one Cartrige and ink costs were a nightmare : almost fortunately, that was stolen, hence the New Machine : i'm liking the new machine, but looking for reliable ways of cutting ink costs still : the seperate cartrige for each colour system is good, but it wont function, even in black and white without all seven cartriges full. Ink costs are still high but less annoying with this system. eion todd. -----Original Message----- From: Tee Cashmore [mailto:tee.cashmore@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 10:25 AM To: muglo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [muglo] Re: Burned Sessions Eric D wrote: > HPs are pretty good, as are Samsungs. Samsung don't even appear on the Inkjet scene, but their Laser printers are very good and relatively inexpensive. HP have significantly reduced the amount of ink in each cartridge and still have 1- 3 colour cartridges and a black, most Canons have 4-5 separate colour, Epson 3 colour or 3 separate colours. _________________________________________________ For information concerning the MUGLO List just click on http://muglo.on.ca/pages/members.html#Joinmuglo Don't forget to periodically check our web site at: http://muglo.on.ca/
