Norman, I think I can see what you're trying to do. How are you on VBA or recording Macros? Ray _____________ This email is from Ray Blake, Head of Software Design, GR Business Process Solutions. I have created a simple spreadsheet which shows sales to each customer on a daily basis, which is then totalled to show the weekly sales. Each customers total per week is then read by a further section and sdded to a weekly record thus allowing me creat a chart showing trends of ordering by each customer over a year. My problem is this: The daily entries are maintained for the week creating the end of week totals which are then added to the weekly trend totals, but I then delete the daily totals for the following weeks entries and lose the previous weekly totals which make up my yearly trend totals. So I need to fix the weekly totals so that each week can be added to the next. below an simplified example DAILY RECORD GIVING WEEKS TOTAL Mon Tues Wed THu Fri Sat Sun Total 4 8 6 5 5 10 10 48 The total is then read to create another section as: YEARLY TRENDS and TOTALS Week 1 YEARLY TOTAL TO DATE 48 ?? I somehow need to fix the previous weeks accumulated figures to maintain a year to date sales figure and ultimately an end of year figure. My only thought is to create a page for each day of the year, but this does seem excessive. Any thoughts would be appreciated Norman West ________________________________________________________________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends? Get the FREE Yahoo!
