Ok, Gene....I'm not real sure exactly what you are asking....(kinda hard
when you are rummy...LOL)...but, here's three things that might get you
pointed in the right direction..

If I'm understanding you correctly, if you want to find bold text and
replace it with regular text, I explain how to do that here:
http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/findreplace.htm

And I don't know why text would come into your document in bold in an
"index"...are you sure you're not talking about a Table of Contents? If
so, TOC's are built on Styles....so if some text is based on the Heading
2, style and that style is set to come into your TOC as bold, that's
what will happen. Look at the style on the text that is not coming in
bold and apply that style to the text that is coming in bold....or
modify that style and remove the Bold from it.

If your page numbers are restarting at 1 every so often, this means you
must have Section Breaks. Go into the Header/Footer view of a page that
is starting at 1 and look at the page number properties (accessible from
the Header/Footer toolbar) and make sure it's set to "continue from
previous section"

If this is NOT what you are asking, try again when you've sobered up LOL

Subject: [mso] Word Large Doc Content page and Index

Ok all you nice people

I have a large document, Unknown pages broken into thirty parts right
now
with about 1/3 done when I run the content from the Master document The
first line is always BOLD? When I run the index some of the index are
(is)
Bold and of course that makes that entry double? What I have found I
can
do, is make those pages Bold and it index's right?? But now I have to
change things when it is printed?? Must be something I could look for
and
replace that is doing it but right now I have worked on it all day and
can't
find the problem.

Also I need some research so I can make the page numbers come out right
from
one part to the other with out watching them go bad<g> Must be away
to
make them start where the last one left off?

Hope this makes sense I am a bit rummy right now!

Thanks Much

Gene
