Thanks Greg - although we have in the recent past been an active charter air
service, our business has changed direction but I have heard of other local
operators using this software to track similar service aircraft (air
ambulance) in the air as a way of watching the competition. We would never
need 10 hours a month but it could be useful for special circumstances ie
when my kids are flying (3 of 4 are private pilots). I suppose to work
correctly your transponder would have to be activated? Sorry to use the
list for this but it's very interesting nevertheless (well, only if you're a
pilot I suppose.) Thanks. Dianne

It's called Flight Explorer and can be hand from this AOPA link:
http://www.aopa.org/info/certified/flightexplorer.html

Flight Explorer itself is an outside service/software publisher. It is
pretty nice stuff but the $9 /month charge for 10 hours access is a
little concerning. Of course, so would someone be if they stayed logged
in watching a flight for 10 hours.<g>
