Humour me. Have another go, but this time, move the NEXTIF field to the
end rather than at the start of the line, like this:
{MERGEFIELD "Name"} --- {MERGERFIELD "Address"}{nextif{MERGEFIELD
"Address"} <> "*@*"}
See if that works for you. (It shouldn't, but this has already got so
weird, it's worth a try!)

My test setup was with 2002. No matter what, I couldn't get the desired
results. I know it seems odd but even with my "script" identical to
Ray's I got the weird result. It's quite frustrating. Maybe someone else
will try it and let us know what happens. /g

Just mentioning that as many details as you can provide, the better your
chances are of getting an accurate answer....maybe in this instance,
that wasn't the case, but sometimes it is...and that's all I was saying.
