Hi All, I feel the pain! I went thru that also with my agencies, they went to 97, and when I got 2000, we had to 'dummy down' so they could read our documents! I loved it since it was their auditors who blasted us for not complying with them! :-) The had to turn-around and buy another upgrade less than 2 years of owning 97!!, our tax $$$ at work! :-) btw, all those new security fixes in 2003 I think will speed up the purchase to the big boys, M$ mentioned some kind of viewer that would maintain security for 2K/XP Office users, I can see the bean counters sweating it out! ;-) I wonder how the 2003 docs w/security will look if opened in StarOffice? The MC didn't want to 'spill the beans' about how it could be bypassed. (of course he wouldn't tell!! maybe there's a white paper) I went thru a flashback Friday, I provided support to a home user fix WordPerfect 8!! updates, other stuff, after trying VBA last few weeks, I had brainlock! ;-) <paul> Thanks Linda allowing the thread to flow, felt like I'm in group therapy...sure beats banging my head on keyboard! <paul> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- FIGHT BACK AGAINST SPAM!
