I'm pretty sure not Kathie. I just looked at the list of compare
operators and discovered Like and Not Like are not on the list. I'm
suspecting that's the problem. I'm wondering now if I could make my
selection using VBA. Surely Like and Not Like can be used there. /g

...forgive me if this is a dumb question, but could the problem be the
format of the phone number, i.e. (###)###-#### or ###.###.#### or
###-###-####? Do you see what I mean? I couldn't begin to tell you how
to fix it if it were the problem, but maybe the cool kids on this list
could?
