Linda- In hindsight you and the others are right. I could give two reasons,
but suffice it to say I had family in the hospital, and friends here were
trying to help me get the house ready for their return. Some of my email was
deleted in interest of keeping the email low, and some of my faxes were
discarded. (These people didn't realize I needed to see all of it.) Life
here was topsy-turvy with a lot of miscommunication going on for about five
weeks.

One fax was from a former professor. She said:

Robert: If you are still using Access, be careful. I received information
today explaining if you are using Access but upgrade to Microsoft's new
version of operating system, your FrontPage and Access will not work. I am
trying to confirm this, but that is the way my information is coming to me.
I can see the problem now, I make an assignment, a student starts on it at
home on Off2000, works on it some at school on Off 2003, and suddenly cannot
work on it at home because the operating systems are different. This is
going to be a mess if true. Thought you would want a heads up.

I had several faxes like that. Hope this answers Steve's question.

Robert. I think Steve was asking why YOU would think Access's future is in
danger? No one said anything about Access going away....so why would your
databases be affected by FrontPage going away?
