Well...to each his own, I guess. I did get a sample and here's hers on the top with a matching (more or less...didn't wanna mess up my style sheet, so it's an approximation of similar styling). Hers is on the top and the same text I dropped into DW is at the bottom, with similar formatting via my style sheet. This is not an argument I care to get into...again...FP vs DW. Use what you want...I don't care. But you can see what she means below that her stuff has a lot of excess boogers. And you can't have all that if you plan to use an Application Provider...it must be clean HTML so it falls into their CSS. Good luck with the clean up, Michele! Aha...I see the problem.....it isn't FrontPage that's causing all the messy code....it's probably cuz she's copying and pasting it from somewhere ELSE into FrontPage. Tell her to copy/paste it into notepad first, then copy it from there into FrontPage, then just add the graphics manually. It will be much cleaner that way and all she will have to do is remove the FrontPage meta tags if she wants to. I'll see if she can pass me something. This is what she wrote me... "Subject: Cleaning up FrontPage Code I hope you don't mind my contacting you about a question I have. I know you put together an extensive tutorial in your newsletters about HTML, so you're the first person I thought of. :-) I am helping someone to prepare an HTML newsletter to submit to a broadcast system/service that they are using. I am a novice with HTML and am trying to convert the text to HTML by copying and pasting into FrontPage. The FrontPage code is pretty messy, I guess, because it takes many more characters than it should when I put it into the broadcast system. Do you know of a way I can clean up the code? Is there some sort of program I can run it through that will get rid of all this extra stuff I see?"
