I guess I don't have that problem cuz I never turn preview pane on...I
have it turned on in one folder only...and that's my Notes folder cuz
that doesn't include email and I like to see my notes in the preview
pane. Why do you keep turning it back on?

no trouble to do it one time... but if I then start working
in different folders and if I leave it on in one..... it's
still open when I come back.. I tried doing it the define
view and ticked message way...
then click the icon for preview
went to another folder
