Duhhh...I was wrong...you can do it all in one step Go to View>Current View>Define Current View...then click on Message in the list to select your Message View...click on the modify button....click on the Other Settings button....uncheck Preview Pane...click OK..then Apply View...now check your other folders...if any of them still show a Preview Pane, that means they are not using the Message View...so just go to the View Menu>Current View and make sure Message is the one that is checked This is what I told you last time and I forgot how to do it this time...but this works. Ok Tina...let me take these one at a time...first of all, yes, Outlook's preview pane is almost as dangerous as OE except it doesn't automatically launch attachments like OE...but it will activate scripts within an email.....and there is an add in for Outlook that will convert all your mail to plain text, but are you sure you want that? Don't you get Lockergnome? If so, I would think something like that would be almost unreadable in plain text...but here's the link if you want to try it: http://ntbugtraq.ntadvice.com/ ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=unsubscribe Or, visit the group's homepage and use the dropdown menu.
