I'd like to give a hearty amen to reveal codes and keyboard shortcuts for
your WP devotees. I had a job that invovled a lot of document preparation,
and our typist insisted on using WP instead of Word. Made my life very
difficult at times. However, those reveal codes really do reveal all of it,
not just the paragraph markers and spaces like Word does. I have a contract
I wrote out in word that has a half a page blank, and FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I
can't get the next page up on that page--I know if I was using WP, I'd be
able to see the code and delete it. All of two seconds. Don't even ask me
how much I have worked to get the stupid thing right in word. Can I bill
that time? <grin>
However, show them how to make all the keyboard shortcuts they want, and how
to customize their toolbars, how to do macros, and they'll have to decide to
be happy soon enough.
