I absolutely agree 100% with everything you said here and if that is what
you meant then you are right I did miss the point.
As far as the message, I am using outlook and since I send messages often
that require HTML, that is my default and I usually forget to change to
plain text for other purposes.
Other than that, I have no idea, but I can see what you mean, really tough
to read.
Have a good night
Thanks

You Said:
I think you missed the point. Reveal Codes worked well...for Word Perfect.
In Word, the function has no real value. Since it is a Styles based
engine, the key to not needing RC is to use Styles. Next, it's closer to
WYSIWYG than WP was intended to be.

The problem comes when you move from one environment to another and try to
use that original environment's tools or thought processes. It's natural
that you would but you'll not get to fluency in Word until you back way,
way off from what you knew in WP and approach it as an old problem with a
new tool.

Now, for the offensive part.<g> You didn't offend me but I do have
something to offer that may bug you as much as anything else you've read
here. The customer drives your business. When or If Linux is on all
desktops, I'll cede to my customer's demand. The same thing happened
almost 10 years ago with Word Perfect. I remember distinctly the USAF
actually stating in an RFP that all bids must be in Word format. That
killed our folks since they were religious (almost rabid) WP users. No,
they didn't manage to get a solid response in to that RFP either and it
cost us big.

We simply were hanging on to something that had no real lasting value;
software.

One last note! I'm a little overwhelmed your message from the readability
standpoint. What kind of tool were you using which condensed all your
paragraphs into one? I *think* I can see where you intended them to be but
it's quite a challenge!
