But really, how big are your PST files?
-End-

I forgot they were hidden files and had a hard time finding them! Ok,
several PST files (Archive, Outlook, Research) add up to a total 2.9189 Gig.
These are genealogy research email that someone has sent me saying I am
related to <whomever>, and his <ancestor> is <name>. Is Josiah (or whomever)
related to me? I used to delete them, but they became necessary to keep for
reference; so I tried printing them, and it got out of hand paper-wise.
Geesh, these go back to 1998.

Hi Robert,

No, that's not doable, I'm afraid.
Outlook requires it's messages stores (PST files) to be NOT marked 'read
only', and that's not possible on DVD/CD media.

But really, how big are your PST files? Are they really causing you to run
low on hard drive space? If so, you are probably better off shelling out for
a bigger drive than worrying about trying to access PST files from removable
media.

Cheers
