I'm coming into this thread sideways so pardon me. You intrigued me by using the number 110 and SSL in the same sentence. One thing's for sure, SSL doesn't listen on port 110 (POP3) does. So tell us where the SSL part came from? We may be missing something important if you don't explain it. BTW, SSL listens on port 443, typically.
