=20 Don, The Logitech Bluetooth Presenter has a range of 30+ feet. I'd love one, but they are just too expensive here in Oz. A 'regular' wireless mouse usually has a range of 6-12 feet... ____________________________________ ,,,,, Neil Atwood - natwood@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx=20 =D4=BF=D4=AC Sydney, Australia=20 God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience,=20 but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to=20 rouse a deaf world......C.S. The Keyspan is doable, but does much more than I need it to do. Timing is out of the question, it can vary too much from group to group. I like the idea of an assistant, but the company won't unless I can get a volunteer:-)) Thanks Don From: "vic" <vaf@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [mso] Re: (No Date: Thu, 16 Jan 2003 13:03:35 -0500 Yes here's one. http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/remote/ vic http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WinTips-Tricks/ Expert Video/Audio Guides http://www.angelfire.com/va3/expert_guides/ ----- Original Message ----- From: Donald Smith To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2003 7:55 AM Subject: [mso] Does someone make a "remote button" to advance Powerpoint slides, so you don't have to be standing next to the computer? I know they don't make this specific model anymore but I'm pretty sure they still make something. -----Original Message----- From: Donald Smith [mailto:dcsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2003 4:55 AM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Does someone make a "remote button" to advance Powerpoint slides, so you don't have to be standing next to the computer? OR a very long mouse cord...? ;-) In particular, Logitech, make a cool Bluetooth 'Presenter' mouse designed for this very thing. Expensive though... :-( -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Donald Smith Sent: Thursday, 16 January 2003 11:55 PM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Does someone make a "remote button" to advance Powerpoint slides, so you don't have to be standing next to the computer? If you know what your going to say, you can practice it and time it and the puter will change the slide at the time intervals you set. Will that work?? Or, if it will vary from speech to speech try using a Remote Mouse... I'm just not sure on the range.... Of course the BEST remote button is an assistant, who could not only sit there to advance the slides for you, but one who could black/white out the slides when needed to or even go back to a previous viewed slide or hidden slide.....
