Does a cordless mouse have a range of twenty feet or so, I have never used a
cordless mouse? The Keyspan is doable, but does much more than I need it to
do. Timing is out of the question, it can vary too much from group to
group. I like the idea of an assistant, but the company won't unless I can
get a volunteer:-))
Thanks
Don

Does someone make a "remote button" to advance Powerpoint slides, so you
don't have to be standing next to the computer?
  Thanks

We have an older Logitech wireless handleld pointing device/mouse we use. I
know they don't make this specific model anymore but I'm pretty sure they
still make something.

A cordless mouse? OR a very long mouse cord...? ;-)

In particular, Logitech, make a cool Bluetooth 'Presenter' mouse
designed for this very thing. Expensive though... :-(

Have you experimented with using the timer to advance your slides.... If you
know what your going to say, you can practice it and time it and the puter
will change the slide at the time intervals you set. Will that work?? Or,
if it will vary from speech to speech try using a Remote Mouse... I'm just
not sure on the range.... Of course the BEST remote button is an assistant,
who could not only sit there to advance the slides for you, but one who
could black/white out the slides when needed to or even go back to a
previous viewed slide or hidden slide.....

Hi Don...if you put a subject line on your emails to this group, you might
get more answers :-)

Anyway...you can buy both remote keyboards and remote mice....this is what
most people use with PowerPoint presentations for the very reason you
mention.
