This is a long shot, but I had a similar problem and the same concerns and I found that it was the Logitech driver for my wireless mouse causing the problem. The driver was causing Outlook to stay open in the process list. Do you by chance have a Logitech mouse? Just thought I would throw that out there because I went through the steps of disabling everything to only discover that it was something other than an add-in causing the problem. On Vista at least after uninstalling my Logitech drivers, I discovered that Vista itself had drivers sufficient enough to run my mouse with all of its extra functions, so my mouse works and Outlook shuts down. -----Original Message----- From: mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mso-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michele Wong Sent: Monday, May 07, 2007 2:18 PM To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Re: Outlook 2007 Failed to Close Properly I checked the addins as you suggested and there were lots of them. How do I disable all of them? I did what I thought would work, but every time I open Outlook, I get a message for each disabled addin plus I still get the message that Outlook wasn't shut down properly. I also did check task manager and don't see anything else running. -- Thanks, Michele Wong Reliable Cyber Solutions, LLC http://www.reliablecyber.com On 5/7/07, Linda F.
