Original message... <<...the old Outlook told me, in the lower right, how many messages it had to download and what <<number it was on. The new one gives me only a percentage. <<I'D LIKE IT BACK TOO. BUT I'VE FOUND THAT HAVING THE DETAIL BOX ON BY DEFAULT ISN'T SO BAD. This is a follow-up to a recent thread on wishing Outlook would tell you how many messages it's downloading. If I read correctly, it seems as if people are saying 2002 does not do this where as older versions of Outlook did. I'm using 2000 and don't see such an option. I also read something about a detail box that might be providing the same info. So my questions are: ...Is there a way in Outlook 2000 to see how many messages are being downloaded? ...What is this detail box that was mentioned? Thanks.
