Oh and YES...they DO listen! We JUST has a worldwide chat session with Jim
Allchin...MS VP and one of Bill's right hand men! This is a VP of MS and he
REGULARLY takes time to sit down in front of his PC and chat with all the
MVPs who can make it into the private chatroom, as do many other major dept
VPs. There were about 281 MVPs in there yesterday. He listens! He tells us
what's up with current updates and then asks us stuff and sits back and
listens to all our complaints, whining and such...and then he DOES take that
"great info" as he calls it back to his leads and they do what they can to
improve the user community at large.

Well, James...according to Dian and the other MVPs I talk to, they
actually do listen to the wish list thingie (can't remember the site or
email addie, but I'm sure Dian will tell you).....so, maybe you should
send this request to the wish list....tell em you want this choice
configurable!!

========================
But, I teach a lot of classes to different age groups and I used to find
that a LOT of people couldn't see the old raised/pushed-in buttons. I
would keep telling them "You can tell it's turned on cuz it's pushed in"
and they would say "I can't tell it's pushed in".....Now, with the blue
outline, they can see it better. So, I guess, for some, it IS an
improvement.
========================

That is good to know.

I can see how it might be an improvement for some.

Just wondering why MS chose NOT to make it "configurable".

(But, then, they didn't ask me.)
