Oh..I didn't know they were gone from the first one...yes, you should  have
exported them from Outlook 2002 before you moved the pst.

I didn't delete, I just renamed (and if the rules aren't part of the PST,
what would renaming have to do with it?).

I renamed it back, opened it up, made it the default, and the rules were
gone - probably been gone since I created the new account.

Of course you are right - I should have exported the rules a long time
ago...
