I've been using it since January 2003. I've had no problems with it and like
the improvements to Outlook, especially. Very cool!
However, although the upgrade MAY take care of your password prompt problem,
you should read this article:

Not sure what's the problem, as I haven't been paying attention to this
thread. But see if the above helps.

Oh...sorry. I just realized that you asked specifically for Office 2003.
That version is no longer accepting BETA testers. But you can order a
PREVIEW copy and subsequently submit bugs if you find them.
