Thanks and yes, it REALLY ticked me off. It's worse than just having to
hit delete when a spam email gets in. First you look like an idiot for
not seeing to delete it if you miss it...like you never check your book.
Thankfully, the email allows me to get rid of it right away. I suggest
all guestbook users use that option if it's available! But then I have
to download my DB to remove it and put it back up. It doesn't take long,
but it's more time that I should have to spend when I'm busy just cos'
some jerk nailed me.
I just really want to nail them back someway!!<grrrr> OK...I'm done! ;-)

Hey Dian....I use guestgear for my guestbook and tho it's a free
service, they DO send me an email every time someone signs my
guestbook....and yes, I've had spammers and porn put in my guestbook
myself...so I know how you feel....feels like you been violated eh?
Yep..this is OT, but I'll let you slide, my friend, cuz I know the need
to rant about this stuff.

Hi folks and hope you don't Linda & Marv...but I just must pass this
along as a service to users.
If you have a guestbook on your web site, I suggest you check it and
keep watch. I wrote my own guestbook, so I have it set to send me an
email whenever someone adds a submission, but I'm guessing that the free
guestbook services some of you may use do not email you to let you know
that you have a new submission. Therefore, unless you check your
guestbooks, you may not know you have a new listing.
