Hey Dian....I use guestgear for my guestbook and tho it's a free service,
they DO send me an email every time someone signs my guestbook....and yes,
I've had spammers and porn put in my guestbook myself...so I know how you
feel....feels like you been violated eh?
Yep..this is OT, but I'll let you slide, my friend, cuz I know the need to
rant about this stuff.

Hi folks and hope you don't Linda & Marv...but I just must pass this
along as a service to users.
If you have a guestbook on your web site, I suggest you check it and
keep watch. I wrote my own guestbook, so I have it set to send me an
email whenever someone adds a submission, but I'm guessing that the free
guestbook services some of you may use do not email you to let you know
that you have a new submission. Therefore, unless you check your
guestbooks, you may not know you have a new listing.
