I think that might be the shortened version of what I want :-))) I have read up on lookup functions, taken college courses in my area and written my own formulas, including a vlookup today that worked fine. I get confused on the differences: Lookup Vs. Hlookup (horizontal) VLookup (vertical) Match Index They all seem to do basically the same thing. Probably just my warped mind.
