You're going to laff...maybe. I was thinking about the named ranges problem I've been having with the other data file I've been working on. Instead of using cell references which I would normally have done, I was substituting the column titles. Well, it had already been a long day. I woke up at 2:30 this morning with the realization of what I was doing wrong. Naturally, I couldn't go back to sleep so today isn't going to be much good. sigh. /g -----Original Message----- From: Linda F. Johnson [mailto:linda@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Well then, that's your problem, you can't concatenate data inside a cell, you have to concatenate the cell names where the first and last names are. Excel doesn't recognize LastName and FirstName in your formula....the contents of the cells means nothing to Excel, that's why you are getting #Name?...Excel thinks LastName and FirstName are range names, but they aren't.=20 ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
