Hi Linda and Michael,

Thanks for that. It worked great and I was tearing my hair out with it
yesterday.

Paul.

Hi Paul

Highlight all the cells in column A from A10 all the way to A100 and go
to the Edit menu and choose Fill>Series....then make sure "Columns" and
"Linear" are selected and make sure the Step Value is 1 then hit OK and
that will fill with 11,12,13, etc...all the way up to 101.

Hope this is what you meant.

Hi,

I've got a spread sheet with a number of columns, one of them being an
ID column.

I have about one thousand rows in the spread sheet and the A column is
my ID.. so in cell A1, is the value 1, and in cell A2 is the value 2, in
cell A100 is the value 100.. ya know?

I've to insert a new row at A10, and so increment the whole ID column
after A10 by one.. so my new row's ID is 10, and the old ID 10 is
changed to 11.

Anyone tell me how to do this?.

Paul.
