The easiest way to do this: If the records are orderd 1 through whatever,
then you insert the row.
You now have IDs ...8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12...etc. right?
So, all you need to do is to make sure the first ID (#1) is in the first
cell and highlight all the IDs. Then hit Edit | Fill | Series. Make sure the
box has series in column, that it is linear, and that the step value is 1.
Hit "OK" and it will renumber all the cells accordingly, which means the
series above will now be ...8,9,10,11,12,13... as expected.
