Ok...but if she DOES have it set for Zip Code and the zeroes aren't showing,
then follow the instructions in the article Dian sent a link for that I
wrote for TechTrax and use a custom format. For a standard zip code, the
format would simply be 00000
But, I use the Zip Code format for all my zip codes in Excel and when I do a
mail merge in Word, the zeroes all show so I have no idea why that's not
working for you.

Linda,
It is set correctly in Excel, but the 0 disappears after Word's Mail Wizard
has gone through all the steps & is ready to preview them. So it looks fine
in Excel but when Word is through the 0 is no longer there. I am seeing my
senior tomorrow & I will double check her settings again in Excel as per
your instructions.
