Linda,

It is set correctly in Excel, but the 0 disappears after Word's Mail Wizard has
gone through all the steps & is ready to preview them. So it looks fine in
Excel but when Word is through the 0 is no longer there. I am seeing my senior
tomorrow & I will double check her settings again in Excel as per your
instructions.

Dian sent me a link to the tutorial she wrote on making labels. My senior will
love the chance to put small pictures on each label. But I am afraid I will
have to be the one to show her & I hate to admit I am stuck on two very small
questions:

Dian says "drop in a picture or add text". So I went 'Insert' > 'Picture' >
'From File' & it inserted it into one cell. But I can't get the text
information on the right side of the picture. It wants to type it below the
picture. I tried to put a text box next to it with the label info on it but
that didn't look right. So maybe I don't understand what Dian means by 'drop'.
Also is there a way to size the picture to be used on the label? One picture
only covered half the space between the top & bottom height. When I tried a
different picture, it filled that part of the label correctly.

I certainly appreciate all the help the members of this group has been
offering. This group feels like the family I never had.
Jan

In Excel, highlight the cells with zip codes in them, then go to the Format
menu and choose Cells....then click on the Number tab, choose Special from
the list and choose Zip Code or Zip Code+4

Always make zip code fields text - number fields truncate leading =
zeroes!
