Hi Linda, I do compact somewhat regularly. But we are talking about two different things. The fragmentation that is fixed with compacting is _within_ the pst file. It results primarily from holes left by deleting or archiving items. Compacting in this case just removes the empty spaces in the file. The fragmentation that is fixed by speedisk is the file being fragmented into pieces scattered on the drive. So...
