I installed that trial program, but thought it was a bit more complex
than I needed. The export/import method worked just fine.

This second issue is to change how Contacts are displayed from within a
new message. In Office 2000, the fix is:

From within Outlook..
Click Tools.. Services.. (the Services window appears)
On the Services Tab, select Outlook Address Book..
Click Properties.. (the Address Book properties window appears)..
At the bottom, find Show Names By.. Change it to Last, First..

There must be a similar setting in Office XP as well. I've not found
it, tho'.

I really don't know how to change the existing ones....the only setting
I see is for NEW ones. There are two settings in Tools>Options>Contact
Options button...did you change them both? That's the only place I know
to do this.

Did that free trial program not work?

Linda
