Lin,
This method worked great!  All his contacts now show as LastName,
FirstName.

But it didn't change the order of his contacts from within a new email
message. When he opens a new message, clicks TO:, and views his
Contacts; they're still displayed FirstName LastName.  Is there a way to
change this? I've looked around for a sort option specific to this, but
I can't find one.


Ideas?  What have I missed?

I downloaded and played with this a bit, Linda.  It looks like a pretty
slick little proggy.  But I've decided on a more simplistic approach.
I'm gonna export Contacts to a comma-delim file, change my Contact
Preferences to Last, First, then import the comma-delim file back into
Contacts.

It seemed to work pretty well on a small test of 20 contacts.  Will let
you know how it goes when I do the entire list tomorrow.
