Hi Guys,

Sorry to hear about Louis's death, Amy and John. I think I saw a note from Amy on Facebook, but Vickie gave more of an update.

Christine, I'm sorry about you guys being stranded, and also I think Bea had sent something earlier about more problems.

I really didn't want to post about Onyx in light of everything with Rob's passing. It seemed so trivial in comparison.

She had stomach issues for the past year and a half, and she was anemic at the end of May. She had a Prednizone injection and we gave her meds, but apparently the dosage was too low as she didn't maintain her weight. But, the autopsy revealed that she had lymphoma. The most disturbing part is that she died alone.

The new cat we have is five years old. Her owners turned her in because apparently they were going to be wheelchair users and didn't feel they could take care of her. She was at the vet's for a week when we saw her. She is still pretty traumatized, she shakes if you hold her. Yesterday, she hid under the bathroom sink. Today, she discovered the area behind the couch. I tried to get her out, and she hissed and bit my thumb. So, hopefully she doesn't need her pain meds for her de-clawed feet that badly. We're just going to give her time to adapt to the house and to Milla, our dominant kitty who is about nine months older and the one who really owns this house.
