That is almost too much to read in one posting. Guess I better save this one and read it again. SMILE Prayers are going out to all of those who have lost their close friends and pets this week. First Steve. I’m sure he hasn’t said anything about this, because of Rob’s passing on Monday. But he and Shannon went to a James Taylor concert down at the old Pine Knob. They had a wonderful time there. but when they arrived home, they found their little kitty cat, who was sick for a while now, had died behind their couch. So that’s the sad part. then, the very next day after having the funeral for the cat, I’m sure, they adopted a new little kitty. So, while there is sad news to report, another little homeless kitty has a new loving family to share her nine lives with. smile. But I don’t know whether to say condolences, or congratulations for getting back in the saddle. I guess both statements are in order. Then John and Aimee. John reported to us some 25 minutes after seeing the post on Facebook, about Rob Moses’s death. The night previous, Sunday night, he went to the hospital with another friend of theirs, named Lewis, who has been a friend and driver for them to various personal things, like doctors, shopping, etc. They said they often referred to him as their sometimes roommate. Well, the hospital sent Lewis home, or rather back to John’s house, due to only finding blood in the urine and providing an antibiotic, which Lewis planned to fill the next day. So, while John started calling personal friends about Rob’s death, on Monday, Lewis called him from John’s bathroom, indicating that he was on the floor and couldn’t get up. So aimee called 911 and went to the hospital with Lewis. This was a different hospital than the Sunday night visit. They found an embolism, in the area of his heart and lungs. Aimee stayed with him at the hospital until 7:30 that evening. then at 2:00 a.m. the following morning, or middle of the night really, Lewis’s mother called to report that Lewis had passed away. His heart stopped twice, and after the second time, they could not revive him. Lewis was only 43 years old, and an only child. Lewis’s father has prostrate cancer, and has for about 8 years, and is now under constant care. So, it’s been quite a week for john and Aimee with the death of two wonderful friends. So, condolences to John on two accounts, and to Aimee as well. So, life goes on, and we’re definitely celebrating each day. Life is so fragile. God bless us all. Vickie
