Ron, Once the coating wears of (and it does so fairly quickly) you throw them into the bin, and buy a new one. There is nothing else that can be done with them. I personally wouldn't touch them unless I was going to use them on a particularly nasty material and I was expecting to throw them in the bin when the job was finished. Otherwise, I'd buy the HSS slot drills and end mills. My 0.84 pence worth......
