John,
That's certainly one variation of it, I'm sitting here holding one of
those at this moment. It's for the nut which holds paper sanding and
grinding disks to the rubber backing disk on my angle grinder. The other
variation I had in mind is like a straight-legged calipers, with movable
leg(s).
