what means number 4? do you mean, 4 times arrow down?
how to set the Part? should I use part one for every arp or can i use
different parts?

So i found the easyest way to record arps with sonar from Motif xs model
in midi data. Maybe this information wil be verth to somebody.
step 1: turn on local control, you can do this using sysex data and send
it from Sonar.
2. in song>patern>performance mode pres seq setup, pres f3 quick seq setup
choose sequensor setup number 4 and choose "record arps to computer"
3. Set parts in whitch you use arpeggio data, turn on main arp switch,
turn on midi out switch, set midi channel on whitch you use arpeggiator.
This can be done with jon mellas editors.
4. You must not echo back midi track from sonar, in order to do this go
to options/global options and uncheck "always echo midi track" because
echo must be off on midi track you choose to record arpeggio data.
record the arps and enjoy:)
Just one question whitch i don't know, is this setting made in sequensor
setup after motif xs power down avaylable.
Maybe someone could check it.
