Correct, this is how it should work. But every time I’ve tried it, I end up
finding unread mail lurking in other folders that the smart folder never
displays.
As far as the sorting…meh. Doesn’t bother me at all, your mileage clearly
varies.
Oh, I’ll be the first to say that I’m a corner case in terms of email
processing and processes, especially these days. :)
it’s pretty clear Outlook is getting way more than Mail, probably because
it’s a much higher priority for MS than Mail is for Apple. And MS actually
responds to feedback from the in-client feeback thingy.
Totally agreed on all counts there. Indeed, especially after we switched from
on-premises Exchange to O365 Exchange and O365-licensed Outlook, I’ve seen more
improvement in Outlook in the past 6 months or so than I saw in years prior.
This read receipt thing gets me especially given all of Apple’s rah rah privacy
stuff.
