I think almost everyone would like PCBs (me included), so if only a
mixer is the showstopper here, why not make a set of modular PCBs
instead of one big PCB? That way any functional section could be
individually replaced/upgraded - and we can secretly still play with Lego...

guys,
here is the pinch, the mixer leakage is too much to meet the spectral
requirements of FCC. if we can get the local oscillator down to -50dbc
then we have a game.

Still whaiting too.
Whe could make a group buy for boards (if avaiable) and parts like a
kit.

Hi ganque!
Same here like Paul. I am waiting for a PCB to surface.
I had even sent Sandeep a contribution to purchase a batch
of 3 by 3 PCBoards of the earlier version but never received
the Main Board.
I can homebrew Minima, Manhattan style, but I do like the
neatness of a PCB.
Well, any news?!

This is a new pcb that has just been created by VE3ZMH
so a couple of guys here in Canada who are interested in
the minima can try it out. Is surface mount.

Hi All,
I was away for a while and unaware about the
latest development. Can somebody put some light on
which design the PCB is being talked about? Is the
design and testing is completed for minima now?

A couple of the local Hams got together here and
decided to have a go at this radio. So we are
sharing the costs and the experience. Got to
check out the board to make sure I have not made
any big mistakes. I am also working on the
digital board to go with this. I am also writing
a construction manual and it has the parts list
as all Digikey parts. Is a mix of surface mount
and through hole but the surface mount are all
larger parts so can be hand assembled.
Surface mount parts very inexpensive.
(1206 size typ) Going to be posting progress on
the web page, suggest you wait till we fire up
the first boards and get the bugs out.
If it all works and there is interest will
likely make boards available at nominal cost to
other Hams.
Keep checking the web page.

This is my first post. I have created my
own PCB for the minima. It mostly uses
surface mount. Going to start assembling
it this week. Will document progress on
