I'm sending this to both lists as it may be of interest. In my search for an
accessible keyboard with built-in sounds, I've settled on the Yamaha CK88.
One of the main reasons is that not only does the UI have a single button
for every function, but Yamaha tech support have really gone over and above
to give me a complete list of the menus and every setting. There are also
shortcuts to get to many options in the menus. If anyone is interested in
the Settings menu list, let me know off list.
(I haven't purchased it yet but I will be.)
I did write to both Yamaha about their CK88and and Roland about their RD88.
Only Yamaha had the courtesy to respond both with two phone calls and an
email with text files for the manual and now a text file for the menu lists.
I really wanted to be loyal to Roland as I already have a TD17KV EDrum kit
and a Juno DS61, but alas, they aren't interested in Accessibility, so
Yamaha gets my business for the fully weighted keyboard this time.
