yes, create your document in windows, put it on an external storage device 
like a memory stick, card or external drive etc, and use it on the mac side 
or you can copy out of the xp partition, you just cannot write to it.

If I had bootcamp and wanted to be able to use a program in Windows to
create a document but then wanted to get that document into a mac app, would
there be a way to do this?
