the short answer is that they will run whether youuse fusion or boot damp 
for windows.

Oh, I know Kurzweil has problems.  That's why I only use it for reading as
opposed to relying on it for any sort of writing or word processing.
And I know these programs don't have mac versions.  I wasn't necessarily
wanting another mac program that's equivalent to them.  Sorry for that
confusion. I would still like to be able to continue to use them, so I was
just wondering if they will run on the mac when it is operating in Windows,
and if so, if they'd run in fusion or just bootcamp.  I'm basically trying
to figure out if I can use them if I had a mac, or if I need to just get a
regular Windows laptop.
