First, according to Apple, face recognition is 50x more secure than
fingerprints.
Next, the passcode will still be there.
The facial recognition camera uses infrared beams to map out all of the
contours of your face. during the keynote, Apple did state how many points of
recognition or utilised. I do not remember the number at this time.

Well the face recognition thing will not work for me, I need to unlock

Just did a quick read of some articles, and of course they’re not saying
what the alternatives are, like how you could always use a passcode or not
have a lock on your phone, also no indication of how a really visual
technologywill work for us. My favourite line in one of the articles was,
keep your snazzy new iPhone away from your evil twin.

maybe nobody on here knows the answer to this yet. If the iPhone 10 uses
face ID but only works if your eyes aren't closed and you are looking at
it, will quite a few of us who are totally blind still be able to use it?
