Hi,
I have 4GB of RAM also.
However, once it stutters, it won't do it again till you launch
iTunes again. I can live with it, but the first time I heard it, I
was a little surprised.
I even went into iTunes Prefs and selected the Store button. Then I
unchecked all the options. I did this just to see if it would make
any difference and it didn't.
