Dan,

Definitely a lot faster machine than I've got! Y9ou're having these stuttering issues as well, correct? If so, it's definitely not an issue of CPU power.

Take care,

Ron J.

Dan,

I'm running a 2.16GHz MacBook here. Wouldn't you think that'd be fast enough to avoid this stuttering issue? How much faster than this MacBook is Marie's system? Could be that, but this MacBook is definitely lots snappier than my old iMac G5 (which my roommate now has) was, so I'm not sure what to thing?

Regards,

Ron J.

Marie,

It might be your system being so fast and powerful that you don't have the issue. I do think this is a first time loading issue and that in fact, vo is not actually stuttering as it were but the load process is causing a sort of flicker.

I cannot replicate the issues you guys are having I'm afraid. I'm curious of why this is happening to you all. and only wish I could help.

Hello Chris and list,
Just one further note on the iTunes stuttering thing, for what it's worth. I also removed the iTunes Helper application from my log in items. But that didn't make a difference either. As I said, I can live with it. But these kinds of things always get me curious as to what's causing the problem.

I think I can confirm that the stuttering only happens once for me too.

Hi,
I have 4GB of RAM also.
However, once it stutters, it won't do it again till you launch iTunes again. I can live with it, but the first time I heard it, I was a little surprised. I even went into iTunes Prefs and selected the Store button. Then I unchecked all the options. I did this just to see if it would make any difference and it didn't.

Yep gettingthat exact problem here as well. DOn't think it'd be my amount of ram either. This mac has 4 GB in it.

Anyone but me seeing this? I can replicate it 100% of the time.
1. open ITunes.
2. focus on the sources table.
3. begin down arrowing with arrow only and when you get to the itunes store, vo will stutter the word sources several times.
