Thanks: this is very helpful: I"ll try it. But I'm still not clear about how
many music folders I'll have:currently I know I can't actually "copy" any
files from iTunes itself. wll the music folder in my home folder no longer be
operative? Will I go to the external drive? How is what's on the external drive
any different from what's currently in iTunes? If I can't durrently download
from iTunes, if I move the library how will I be able to download individual
items from the external drive if that's now my new iTunles locatiln? Sorry to
be so dense.
