Yes, the Macbook family has a delete key. what you call backspace on your PC
is called the delete key. Also you can do a forward delete, which is what PC
users probably think of when they think of the delete key, by doing the Mac
delete key with the fn key. Use vokeys-k to turn on keyboard help and you
will see that the key you may be thinking of as backspace really is called
delete and that key in combination with the fn key is termed forward delete.

You should be able to delete your e-mail messages with the delete key.
You can reply to a message with command-r.

If you want to know what the keys are on your mac you can press VO
keys-k for key board help and every time you press a key it will speak
the name of the keys and if you press a combination of keys, it will
tell you the function of that combination.
To leave this function, press escape.

Hi all.
Is there a podcast or tutorial on the mail application in mountain
lion? I maybe should've waited to upgraded till I figured a little
more out with this but. I guess I'm impatient! What I'm trying to do:

1. delete messages. backspace isn't working as I thought it would.
and
2. Reply to a message.
This will get me started I think.
Thank you. yet again!!!>
