Lol now you sure have me stumped. Well I just checked my version and found that
the "about" dialog isn't accessible for me. Grrr. However I found an album in
my library that had not been labeled with the artist. I then highlighted all
the tracks, pressed cmd I, and had no trouble finding the artist field and
labeling it with "los picantes". Then I go to the artist column in the playlist
and "los picantes" show up there, giving me the tracks that I want.

Nah I'm quite certain that those labels have been consistantly in the same
place for a good 10 years now. xd But if your VO is not seeing them anymore, it
might be a problem with your computer. If apple don't help you over email, you
might try the geniouses. Just another suggestion.
