Hi Kim Welcome. I remember how to delete from the downloads folder now that the list reminded me <smile> On a completely different note, I was using my Windows PC the other day, after not using it for a while, and found I was using VoiceOver commands with JAWS and trying to remember how to do something on the PC. Guess I'm getting more use to the Mac <smile> Lena On Jul 7, 2012, at 7:36 AM, George B wrote: from your desktop v o, (control option) m to ge to the menu bar right arrow over to go down arrow to download and do v o spacebar in this folder find the itens to delet and do v o shift m and it brings up the contextual menu and arrow to trash and do a v o spacebar, you can also do a i can't remember at this earily moment but when the item is highlited / infocus it is eather command backspace or delet depending on if you have a mac book keyboard or a regular keyboard and if it is not command then it is control. > -----Original Message----- > From: mac4theblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mac4theblind- > bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Kim Kilpatrick > Sent: Saturday, July 07, 2012 07:01 > To: mac4theblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [mac4theblind] Re: I am a new member and a new mac user. > Questions about downloads and transferring content generated on my PC > to my mac. > > Hi I did try deleting in the dowloads folder but it wouldn't let me do > it for some reason.
